yay
So, the Valentine's Day adventure was awesome. I woke up in the morning, rather grudgingly I might add, at a cool 8:30am. Chris was already trying to roll my lazy butt out of bed. Then he opens my hand and fills it with a box. In said box was a beautiful necklace that I absolutely love....We went to get some gas and some food and then off on the road we went. We traveled to Albany as I previously mentioned. The first stop was the crossgates mall. We found that with relative ease and we wandered around wasting time and eating jelly beans and gooeys. We decided it was time to head to the real destination and back to the car we went. Okay, so mapquest sucks and we got lost but Chris is awesome and we found the place using an atlas and our internal compasses. From the outside the rock climbing gym looks like it is just a shipping and receiving building. Once inside you can see all the walls to climb. There are also caves but we'll get to that later. SO you get shoes that cramp your toes and a harness that binds your butt but it's totally worth it. First you learn to climb and belay. I am lighter than chris so when it was time for me to belay I had to wear "frank" a 75 lb rock to make sure that when chris tried to come back down he wouldn't fall or drag me up to the top instead. As fun as the climbing was, I loved the caves. The caves went behind the climbing walls as well as above them. most of the caves were completely black and were tiny to squeeze through. Before you're allowed to go through the caves you have to squeeze through the tiny box at the entrance. Getting stuck in random places where you can't see what you are doing is always fun. After the rock gym we went to tgi fridays. That was good and it was followed up by coldstone and starbucks. then we went back to my house to dog sit my parents dog. Maggie+chris+sara=not a lot of sleep for sara or chris. How can one medium sized dog take up so much bed. until next time I must away.

don't hate
okay, so I came here to type a new blog and I find a semi-complete sentence and a bunch of empty space already in the box. Considering it was a long gone thought I chose to erase it and start anew. So, here comes Valentine's Day!! For those of you that work in retail, like myself, you are thinking "here comes? Valentine's day was a nice thought 4 weeks ago, but I've got some lovely shamrocks for you, please buy the damn things so that I don't have to rezone them 48 bajillion times more..." ugh. With that out of the way I am actually really excited for the 14th. There is a lot of mystery to the day for Chris because I have not told him a majority of what is happening, however I did let him know that we will be rock climbing that day. We are going to take a day trip to Albany (for those that are confused that is the real capital of New York despite the neglect shown to it). It sounds really exciting and it seems like he is looking forward to it to. Now the place we will be going to has climbing walls and caves you can spelunk down in to. No, spelunk is not a dirty word nor is it a sound effect. Click on it, it will tell you what it means.
Also, recently Chris, his friends, and some very handy text book like books have been teaching me how to play DnD. Guess I got a little too into the acronyms epidemic that is my workplace; DnD is Dungeons and Dragons. It is actually a really cool role playing game. I have only offically played once, and it was only a mini capaign, but I liked it. My human fighter died. A tentically (yup that'll have to do for a word describing a mythical creature) worm thing paralyzed Khalina (that's what I named her, actually I named her Khalia, but I added the "n" because that is the closest thing to her name Howard-the Dungeon Master-would use) and her buddies and by the time we would've come to it had eaten us.
Still looking for a new/part time job. I applied at another place the other day. I got an interview the day after. Now I am playing the waiting game. I am hoping for anything at this point. By the end of the week I am going to start calling some places back. I also have been considering a completely different full time job, nothing specific. It's just checking a different box on the application, but I am starting to have cut hours at work and I do NOT like it. Cross your fingers for me, and maybe couple of your toes. Pray for me if you must, but promise me if you hear anything back you'll tell me, cause that's fun, and who knows, maybe your magical voice has a job for me. ; )
